About Us
Lester B. Pearson Public School is situated in central Ajax. Our school has approximately 330 students who represent the diversity of Ajax.  Our school community is a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive place where students are willing to teach each other about their backgrounds and experiences. Students indicate that they feel safe at Lester B. Pearson PS. Students come from a variety of family structures. We have many students who are multilingual learners as well as some international students.  Our students and/or families speak the following languages at home: Urdu, English, Dari, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Mandarin, Hindi, Cantonese, Telugu, Turkish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Tigrinya, Persian, Gujarati, Malayalam, Spanish, and Pashto. Our learners are neurodiverse and learn best in environments that are responsive to their strengths and needs. Our students come to school with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
